Various levels influence transportation policy and land use in Israel, including the Ministries of Transportation and Finance, local authorities, planning committees, and more. Everyone already understands today that the method of predicting demand and creating a volume of roads to provide supply for demand is an impractical and, above all, wasteful method on an economic, transportation, and environmental level. It is known to all that the solutions lie in sustainable transportation.
פרויקט תחבורה בת קיימא ברשויות המקומיות, מטרתו לעודד יוזמות ותכנון כולל ברשויות, אשר יוביל להחלטות המשלימות את קבלת ההחלטות המתבצעות על ידי משרדי הממשלה וגורמים פרטיים. במסגרת העבודה בפרויקט אנו עובדים עם רשויות מקומיות על מנת לקדם גישה מערכתית ובת קיימא מתוך הרשות המקומית.
פרויקט תחבורה וקהילה הוא פרויקט שמסייע לקבוצות תושבים בקידום ושיפור התחבורה הציבורית באיזור מגוריהם.
קבוצות אזרחים, פעילים חברתיים, עובדים קהילתיים ועמותות מקומיות, המעוניינים לקדם ולשפר את התחבורה הציבורית באיזור מגוריהם, מוזמנים לפנות אלינו לסיוע, ייעוץ וליווי.
Transport Today and Tomorrow was founded in 1998, in order to change transportation policy in Israel and promote the development of sustainable transport system which is based on high-quality public transport, walking, cycling, carpooling and other alternatives to the private car. Our mission is to encourage the State of Israel to provide those various transport solutions, which will reach the needs of all its residents and secure the social and economic growth of underprivileged communities and peripheral towns.
